It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verline Reid (nee Rogers), (Warrenton, Missouri), born in Shannon, Mississippi, who passed away on  April 4, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends.

Verline was the 8th child of 10 parented by Dale and Darthula Rogers.
Verline, 86, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. Dear wife of the late Eugene Reid, dear mother of Elois Rogers, Warlean Buchanan and Tony (Edie) Bond, loving grandmother of Tara (Fred Williams) Holmes, Damien (Himy) Holmes , Tony Bond Jr., Peyton (Caleb) Ives (nee Bond),  great grandmother of Christian and Corey, Joshua and Jenise. She’s proceeded in death by 7 siblings Sarah, Herbert, Leonard, Mary, Corrine, Wilma and Cecil. She leaves to cherish Ida and Alvin.
She was a long time member of Trinity Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was a Born Again Christian.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2022, 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM  at Trinity Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 11755 Mehl Avenue, Florissant, MO 63033.
