Tanit “Teri” Langley (nee Heyer)

Born July 20, 1947 to Anna Mae (nee Juliet) and Kent Heyer, passed peacefully at home on November 9, 2025.

She is survived by her children Jackie (Terry) Banholzer, Jerry “Bub” (Lisa-deceased) Burkeen and Ryan (Ashleah) Burkeen; her grandchildren Jacob (Lindsay) , Danielle, Cheyenne, Alexis (Blaine), Tanner and Ryan Jr. ; and her great-grandchildren Claire, Callum and Ricky. She is also survived by her siblings Pat (Mike) Moore, Mike Heyer and sister-in-law, Linda Heyer. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Heyer and sister Sandy Heyer. Teri is also remembered by her ex-husband Jerry Burkeen, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Teri loved exploring her family history through genealogy and was proud to be an American. In her earlier years she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cross stitching, gardening, reading, puzzles and playing games with her family. She was always a lot of fun and also loved our St. Louis Blues.

Teri will be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her family. She was an awesome mom and gramma who will be greatly missed.
