Steven L. Froemel of Florissant left colorful journey on earth early Sunday July 26th, 2020. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, cousin, brother & friend to many.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Tom) Seppi; a bonus daughter Diana (Lance) Gilliam; 9 grandchildren Kristofer (Caitlyn) Perry, Dakota Perry, Quentin Milosevich, Alex Milosevich, Briley Johanningmeier, Lincoln Null, Sam Goggin, Wyatt & Sofia Dove; 2 great Grandchildren Kyli & Hunter Perry; countless cousins, newly found siblings, and many many friends at The Doughnut Cupboard, Piasa Harbor, numerous social media and art communities, his apartment building neighbors and the Florissant community.
He was preceded in death by his mother Alma Froemel, a daughter Casey Froemel, and a wife Linda Froemel.
Steve enjoyed completing many of 83 items on his bucket list, he was an extremely talented artist- most recently focusing on Rock Portaiture, he was a pro wrestler with many matches and a couple title belts under the name of Johnny Yukon, he was a published author and songwriter, and enjoyed all things Halloween. He was a loving friend to many with a sharp wit and kind heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Steven asked that no visitation or funeral services be held and only wished for a Celebration of Life. Plans will be announced in the coming weeks.

I am SO grateful and appreciative of all of the 'Steven Originals' we have in our home and will cherish them forever. You were gone too soon but never gotten. Well it took us long enough to find each each other but 30 yrs ago I finally spoke to you for the first time "my brother" soon after that we found the last of the five Justina. You the oldest left before we were all able to have that big get together. Steve, Devon, me, Justina and Rocky we will all meet one day as one. Save us a place brother!
