Sharon Marie (nee: Zerban) Messner fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother church on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Messner; beloved daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (nee: DuBois) Zerban; loving mother of Amy Cox and husband Brian, Brian Messner; dear grandmother of Zachary Cox, Nathan Cox, Isabella Messner and Lillian Messner; cherished sister of Faye Walkenhorst and husband Jack, Carol Callahan and husband Jim, the late Celie Miller, Robert Zerban, Edward Zerban, Joyce Sauer, and Gail Oliver; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

She absolutely loved spending time with her kids and grandkids whether it be family barbecues, grandkids birthday parties, annual apple picking trips to Eckerts or just gathering around the kitchen to enjoy each other’s company. She was part of a large extended family that formed many of her great memories over the years at holidays, family reunions and Friday nights out with the “Serra’s Crew”. Most recently she enjoyed sitting in her easy chair sharing chips and cheese dip with her beloved dog Ellie.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 10:00 am.

Memorial donations are preferred to the American Lung Association.
