Robyn Eileen Setzer, age 72, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Robyn was born on November 3, 1953 to her parents Jason and Sanda Setzer in
Frankfurt, Germany, where her father was stationed during his military service. Robyn
spent her early years growing up in the north woods of Minnesota near Nevis.
Robyn later moved to Stillwater, Minnesota where she attended Stillwater High School
before moving to the Twin Cities. Robyn was married and raised her two sons,
Joshua and Jacob. Robyn worked for many years in various legal secretarial positions,
retiring from Meagher & Geer after nearly 30 years of service.
Robyn was a lover of the outdoors and shared this passion with her family. Some of
Robyn’s favorite memories were of the times spent in the woods near West Crooked Lake
fishing and wildlife watching with her sons.
Robyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her. Robyn
is survived by her sons Joshua Setzer (Katie Setzer) and Jacob Smith (Mandy Rapisrdo),
her grandchildren Astell Rapisardo-Smith and Sterling Rapisardo-Smith, her brother
Avery Setzer, her sister Gail Severtson (LaRoy Severtson), and niece Valerie Mathewman
(Shawn Mathewman).
Robyn was preceded in death by her parents Jason and Sanda Setzer and sister
Margaret Johnson (Richard Johnson) of Menahga, Minnesota.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, a donation to
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is appreciated.
