Robert Wayne Anderson, 72, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on December 4, 2021 after a year long struggle of pain, disease and complications due to his accident in September of 2020.
Robert “Bob” was born on November 26, 1949 to Arthur G. Anderson and Clara L. Brucker in Fort Riley, Kansas. The military family moved to Eureka, Missouri where he attended and graduated from Northwest High School in 1968. He went on to college at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma to where he was a star running back for the College team. He went on to a very diversified working career which included AT&T corporation, Construction Contractor, Mortgage Broker, Car Sales and various other professions.
Bob was a bachelor all of his life and enjoyed an enormous circle of amazing friends and loving family. He loved having fun, drinking and smoking with friends; laughing, telling stories and listening to Beatles, Motown, 60’s and 70’s Music. He was a serious sports fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues who also loved going to the lakes and rivers, fishing, telling jokes and taking care of his beloved puppy dogs.
Bob was preceded in death by his brothers: Elmer Anderson, Ray Keeler, Joe Keeler, Sonny Keeler and Betty Jean Johnson. He is survived by Cecil Keeler, Jr., Barbra Anderson Martin and Phyllis Anderson Garbs plus many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, etc.
Bob “Bobby” was loved fiercely and deeply and will be missed by all. We take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and is now at peace surrounded by the light.
Funeral Services will be Held at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Richmond, Heights on December 18, 2021 at 10AM. The Celebration of Life will be held on the same date in Pacific Missouri at the Eagles Hall beginning at Noon.
