Pamela L. Carmell, age 75, of Shrewsbury, MO, passed away on December 31, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, to William & Betty Carmell.
Pam is survived by her sister Marsha (Steve) and brother Bill (Jennifer). An aunt to Daniel, Jesse (Kasey, great-aunt to Kooper, Jillian, and Baxter), John (Anastasia), and Elizabeth (Andrew), and friends of many.
She will be remembered as a Teacher, Poet, Translator, Cards Fan, Gardener, and World Traveler (¡Oh, cuán lejos llegarás!)
In honor of Pam, a park bench has been installed at Forest Park in St. Louis, MO. It sits just to the east of the Jewel Box overlooking the Colonial Daughter Fountain & garden, with a mighty Burr Oak Tree standing guard.
