Mark Alan Nordmeyer

February 28, 1953 - April 5, 2021

Mark Alan Nordmeyer of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Chester, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 5th, 2021. He was 68.

Mark was born on February 28, 1953 in Chester, IL to Clarence and Carolyn(Sanders) Nordmeyer.

Mark was self employed as an owner/operator of the family grocery store business.

He is survived by his step-mother, Linda McDaniel(Nordmeyer) of Clifton, Colorado, a sister-in law Ginny Nordmeyer of Chester, IL, a daughter, Ashley Furgason of Fenton, MO, 2 grandchildren, Crew and Laine Furgason and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Alex Nordmeyer, a brother, Conan Nordmeyer and both parents.

It was Mark’s wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Happy Memorial Day

Mark was one of my best friends all through grade school, high school, and my early adult life. He was kind and generous and I will always be better for having him as my friend.

Mark was a childhood friend of my brother and I, we spent many a summer day going to the creek or going to the pool or riding our bikes to get ice cream. My deepest condolences to his family.

I am sorry to hear this, Mark was a good friend. My sympathy to his family, I will miss him.
