Marilyn Wise, 83, passed away at Evelyn’s Hospice House in St Louis on March 11, 2024. Marilyn was a
lifelong resident of St. Joseph, Missouri. Graduating Benton High School in 1958, Marilyn Scholtz married
Raymond Parker in 1958 and had two children, Debbie and Brian. She retired from Quaker Oats in St
Joseph after more than 30 years, where she met her second husband Larry Mick, who proceeded her in
death in 1978. She then married Bobby Wise enjoying many happy years together before he passed in
2016. Active in the Francis Street Methodist Church until her illness in 2023. In addition to two
husbands, she is proceeded in death by her parents Marion and John Hoselton and step son Eddie Wise
all of St Joseph. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Debra Parker Oliver of Olathe, Kansas and Brian
Parker of Chino, California. She is also survived by four step children; Bobby Wise, Leslye and
Tony Wise, St Joseph, and Teddy Wise of Kansas City and an endearing friend Garold Crail. She was a
proud grandmother of 5 and great grandmother to 5. Donations are requested in lieu of flowers to
