It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Marie Marshall, beloved wife, sister, aunt, friend and pet parent to many. She departed this life on October 19, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on August 9, 1953, in Corona, California, Karen grew up cherishing the warmth of family and community. She spent her life dedicated to serving others, exemplifying kindness and compassion in every role she held.
Karen’s jobs as a custodian, cashier and manager led her to become a customer care specialist. Her dedication to hard work, kindness and humor left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Residing in Saint Charles, Missouri, Karen was a nurturing presence in the lives of her loved ones and took joy in her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Marshall, whose unwavering support and companionship illuminated her life.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Miller, Jean Miller, her stepfather Marshall Dugan and her sisters Annette and Jeanette.
Karen will be remembered for her kind heart, laughter, and the genuine love she shared with those around her. Her legacy of compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Memorial Visitation and Service for Karen Marie Marshall will be held Wednesday, November 4th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304, to celebrate her life and the impact she had on those around her. Friends and family are invited to join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories that embody her spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Karen’s honor to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
Karen will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain forever etched in the hearts of all who loved her.
