Karen Marie Larson, 64, of St. Louis passed away on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at Mercy Hospital. Karen was born on September 28th, 1957 in St. Louis, the daughter of Robert and Florence Maurer. She attended St. Lawrence and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas. She married Ian Larson, and divorced him in 1992. For several years, she worked as Customer Service Representative at places like First Bank Mortgage, EECU, CCA Global, and her last place of employment at URI information services. She enjoyed being a member of and volunteering for the Moose Lodge in Overland, MO. She was considered a great and wonderful woman to many! She loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her daughter, grandson, and dog, Bandit.
Karen is survived by her brother, Steve (Nancy) Maurer; daughter, Carly Larson; former husband, Ian Larson; Two nephews, Nick Maurer, Kris (Jessica) Maurer; three nieces, Sarah Maurer, Amy (Terry) Reiners, Stephanie (Nick) Elven; grandson, Jackson Emahiser; and her dog Bandit.
She was preceded in heaven by her father and mother.
A celebration of life will be held on January 23rd, 2022.
