Mama, I love you and miss you so much. I’m having a hard time finding the words to really describe our relationship. We were best friends and more than that. We used to tell everyone we were twins, only 32 years apart. I’m going to miss your jokes, gossiping with you, and doing stupid stuff together. When I’m a sobbing mess, you were always able to crack a smile out of me to cheer me up. I could really use one of your jokes right now. The kids love and miss their Granny. Clemmie thinks you died in a video game. She’s slowly starting to understand. I’ll hug the kiddos extra tight for you. I love you Can Opener. From, your chunky monkey.

When I look back on the best years of my life,so many of my favorite memories begain with Karen. She was not just my cousin she was my best friend. Those years were filled with fun, endless conversations, inside jokes, and memories that can never be erased. Some of my favorite memories aren't the big events they are the one only K and I would understand. We had each others back. Time changed and we both grown in different ways, but those years will always hold a special place in my heart.. my heart is broken but I will always be thankful God choose us to be best friends. I love you K!!
