Joshua Jacob Nesser

Joshua Jacob Nesser Sr, (1976 – 2026) from St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on

July 28th, 2026. Josh was born and raised on the South Side of St. Louis, a true

Southsider. He had many friends over the years. In his younger years, he and his

brother were inseparable, running the neighborhood, causing mischief. Their teen years

were filled with lots of laughter, fun, and of course getting themselves into trouble as

many teenagers do. Josh, unfortunately, sustained a life-changing injury in his early 20’s

that changed the whole course of how the rest of his life would unfold. He was blessed

with 3 children that he adored. In his older years, he suffered so many challenges that

ultimately ended his life.

Josh was survived by his mother, Linda McGowan (Nesser), his father, Robert Nesser

(deceased), daughter Alexis Nesser, son Joshua Jacob Nesser Jr (deceased), and

daughter Avery Nesser, brother Jeremy Nesser, granddaughter Anastasia Wagner, and

nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

A private Celebration of Afterlife will be held at his Mother’s home in the near future.
