John (Mike) Hudgens, 73, of St. Charles, Missouri, peacefully passed away in his home on October 28, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Mike was born on March 14, 1949, to Margaret Chafin and James (Terral) Hudgens in the city of Magnolia, Arkansas. After Mike graduated from Smackover High School in 1967, hepursued a degree in Business at Henderson State University and received a Master’s in Public Administration from Webster University. He also served in the Army from 1971-1975.
He married his High School Sweetheart, Neva Jones of Smackover, AR. Mike and Neva went on to have two daughters, Leslie and Jill.
Mike retired in 2006, after many dedicated years at Mallinckrodt. While retired, Mike had time to pursue hislove of golf and cooking.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Terral and Margaret, his wife Neva, and one great-granddaughterNayeli. He is survived by his daughters Leslie (Ricardo) and Jill (Eric); Grandchildren Kayla (Mark), Jacob (Susana), Ricardo Jr. (Christina), Roberto, Anthony(Alexis), Michael (Rebecca), Nevan, Mary Grace, and Kiran; and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren Hazel, Finnley, Angel, Jacob Jr., Ezra, and Emma. He is also survived by his siblings Pat, Roger, & Sherry; as well as many other family members and friends that loved him dearly. Services to be held at a later time.
