John “Johnnie” Dalton of St. Charles Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday Morning, March 20, 2022, at the age of 60.
John was born on March 28, 1961, to Charles and Delores (nee Demsko) Dalton in St. Louis Missouri.
John was proceeded in death by his brother Louis “Louie” Dalton and father Charles “Skip” Dalton.
BELOVED HUSBAND of Veronica “Roni” (nee Fredericks) Dalton; loving brother of Jeanie (Bill) Koehler, Cathy (Rich) Anderson, and Nita (Ted) Achelpohl; devoted father to Jonathan “Louie” Dalton, Taylor Dalton; loving grandfather to Owen Crangle;, brother-in-law of Mark (Kelly) Fredericks, Faustino (Olivia) Fredericks, Ramona Fredericks; dear uncle of 13 nieces and nephews; dear great uncle to 16 nieces and nephews and friend of many.
John worked at Missouri American Water Company for over 20 years and held various positions, but his last title was a Customer Service Field Technician. He enjoyed working A LOT of overtime and spending time with his work buddies.
John was a thinker, protector, and a handyman of many trades. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, dogs, and family. John and Roni would have been married 10 years on May 8, 2022.
John was a genuine soul that radiated energy to everyone around him. He was a connoisseur of growing Banana Trees, a Hummingbird Whisperer, and an expert at mowing his lawn every three days. He loved listening to music; especially the blues, his favorite artist was ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
John “Boo-Boo” was an AMAZING HUSBAND, brother, and friend to many. He was a fighter and would not surrender easily to cancer. John will be fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at the HUTCHENS MORTUARY and CREMATION CENTER, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, Mo 63031 from 2-4 pm Friday, April 15, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be towards his funeral expenses OR send donations in John’s honor to “No Time to Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary” (mention Moose the Great Dane).
