Joanne Mary McColgan-Dunteman, 64 years old, of Dardenne Prairie, MO passed away peacefully with her husband holding her hand, and surrounded by family on December 16th, at St. Joseph’s West Hospital in Lake St. Louis on Dec 16. She was born on December 3rd, 1957, in Bronx, New York to John C Hentze, and Mary (Clements) Hentze. She lived her passion as an RN, and Veterinary assistant. It was through both of these passions that she met her future husband Dr. Edwin Dunteman, and then married on 4/04/2015. Together, they built a life, and enjoyed travelling and visiting friends. She is survived by her husband,  2 sons: Jon (Jill) McColgan of St. Peters MO and Jared (Kristin) McColgan (grandchildren Colin and Kendall) of Glenview IL, nephew Marc ( Carrie) Hentze of O’Fallon, MO. ; and sister Laura (Michael) Lutz of Marleton New Jersey. Her step daughters are Ariel Moss (Michael) of Kirkwood, MO; and Aubrey Dunteman of Savoy IL. She was preceded by her parents, and a (sister Diane Hentze ) and brother  (Jon Hentze).
