Janet Marie Anderson

Janet Marie Anderson, age 72, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on September 15, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on January 27, 1954, in Galveston, Texas, Janet spent her life as a beacon of fierce love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. To those who knew her best, she was the ultimate rock- a maternal protector and provider whose grace and resilience held her family steady through every season of life. With a warm heart and a meticulous and dedicated nature, she brought a sense of magic and comfort to her home, leaving an impact that was, as she often emulated, practically perfect in every way.

Her legacy of care and dedication lives on in the family she fiercely protected. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Anderson and Idalene Anderson, and her brother Michael Anderson. She is survived by her devoted sister, Debbie Anderson, and brother, Mark Anderson; her children, Jennifer Willingham and Tony Mugavero; grandchildren, Skylar, Noble, Mila, and Leo; and a close circle of family and friends whose lives were deeply enriched by her presence.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated hospice care team for their exceptional support and guidance in ensuring her final days were filled with absolute comfort and peace.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Janet’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Evelyn’s House of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
