In February, 2020, James Francis Reidelberger passed away suddenly at the age of 46 from an acute illness.
James “Jamie” Reidelberger was born on May 30, 1973 in St. Louis, MO. He graduated from Parkway North High School in 1992 and attended St. Charles Community College. James was first and foremost an artist. Additionally, he worked for Goodwill, the Radiology Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital St. Peters and then began work he loved at Fresh Thyme Farmers Market where he could be seen dancing while setting produce.
James was an avid skateboarder, a skill he shared with his nephews, and was part owner of Mahoney Skateboards with one of his best friends. He and his brother enjoyed punk, hardcore and hip-hop music. James was the vocalist of the local straight edge hardcore punk band, Enjoy!, and passed the mic to his nephew, Jesse. He had a passion for art, his works have been displayed in many local galleries and public spaces. James loved animals and had a special bond with his buddy, Einstein. He had a positive energy and a zest for life.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne (Sargent) Lowrance and his dog, Einstein. He is survived by his father, John Reidelberger Sr. and step-mother, Joan Reidelberger, as well as his step-father, Kenneth Lowrance, brothers, Joseph and John “Jack” Reidelberger, nephews, Ty and Jesse Reidelberger. Sister in-laws, Kristy Reidelberger and Heather OverKamp (step-niece and nephews, Allison, Addox, Adler), step-siblings, Liz Lowrance Donahue (nephews Jack and Luke), Scott Lowrance (nephew Beau), Tony Brunnert (nephews Nathan and Andrew), Lori Brunnert (niece and nephew Zach and Megan). Many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles, as well as numerous friends and coworkers, whom he considered family.
A private family gathering took place while his remains were cremated. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Details for a celebration of life in James’s honor will be announced at a later date through his Facebook page and family.
Thank you to all the friends and family who have shared their stories of James “Jamie”, they will help us to keep the memory of him alive. His family, friends and coworkers will miss his unique sense of humor, his talent, and his ability to brighten anyone’s day.
