Glen Metz, 61, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away due to health complications on February 22, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Wentzville, MO.
He was born to Charles and Kathleen Metz of St. Louis, MO.
Glen is survived by his sisters Linda Roever (Roger Roever), of O’Fallon, MO, Mary Ellen Cook (Richard Cook) of Bowling Green, KY, and brother, John J. Metz (Lorie Metz) of Wichita Kansas, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters Beverly Hopkins and Elsie Hall, and brothers Ronald Metz, Joseph Metz, and Danny Metz.
Glen loved working on cars, small engines, was a huge Elvis Presley fan and collector, and enjoyed helping wherever needed. Glen enjoyed fishing and visiting with neighbors or anyone who came by to visit. When he wasn’t outside, Glen was an avid WWE and UFC fight fan. He created a long friendship with Roger Roever and Dave Smith, knowing he could count on them when he needed them.
He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Rest in Peace.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Glen at B. Halls Family Grill at 3782 Monticello Plaza Drive, O’Fallon, MO 63304 on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
