Dwaine C. Daniels

May 15, 1962 – December 30, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dwaine C. Daniels on December 30,  2024. Dwaine was born on May 15, 1962, and dedicated his life to service, both to his  country and his fellow veterans.

Dwaine proudly served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 2000, exemplifying  courage, discipline, and commitment throughout his military career. Following his time in  the Navy, he continued his legacy of service by working at the Veterans Administration  from 2010 to 2024, where he devoted himself to improving the lives of those who had  also served.

Dwaine was a beloved brother and uncle, cherished by his family and friends. He was  preceded in death by his mother, Willie Maude Maclin Lee, and his father, Eric V. Lee.  He is survived by his brothers, Ricky (Monika) Elcan and Keith (Tammy) Daniels, his  sister, Darlene Elcan, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold his  memory close.

Dwaine will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, kind heart, and deep love for  his family and fellow veterans.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 8:30am until time of memorial service at 10:30am at HUTCHENS MORTUARY AND CREMATION CENTER, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant, MO 63031.

Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made  to The Kaufman Fund, which supports veterans.
