Deborah Catherine Campbell (née Walker), the heart of our home, passed away on
March 25th, 2026, at age 70, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in St. Louis, Missouri
on January 4th,1956 to Evelen Joan Taylor (née Black) and Billy Joe Walker. She was a
devoted member of the Church of God in Baden, where she served on the board for the
Baden Christian Child Care Center and ran the Church of God in Baden food pantry for
years, giving selflessly to the others.
She was a force of nature, a source of endless laughter, and our greatest cheerleader.
Whether she was volunteering at the food pantry or telling stories over dinner, she filled
every moment with love.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Joan Taylor (née Black) and Billy Joe Walker, sister Victoria “Vickie” Lynn Taylor, brother Raymond Aurthor Taylor, and brother Michael Anthony Walker.
She was a loving wife to William Ray “Bill” Campbell. Together, they built a strong
family and created a home filled with love, acceptance and laughter. Their home was
known as a safe haven- always open to friends and loved ones, as Debbie never knew
a stranger. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness to her children to Paul Gaudette (Latiesha),
Amber Marie Carron (Jeremy), Melissa Kaiser (Chris), Melissa “Mickey” Fagan (Fiancé
Jay Redman), Hollie Campbell-Lewis, and Matthew Campbell (Brittany).
Debbie’s greatest joy in life was her family. Every year, she looked forward to Mother’s
Day and the chance to win flowers at church for having the most grandchildren. She
had a competitive spirit and hoped each year to be awarded those flowers. She was
proud and doting grandmother to 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Cherished sister to Charles David Taylor, June Marie Nenninger (née Taylor), Cindy
Crocker-Gober (Michael), and Randy Crocker (Christy). She was a beloved aunt, niece,
cousin and dear friend to many, loved by all.
