David Alvin Lawson of St. Louis, Missouri, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home on, October 8, 2021. David was born in St. Louis, Missouri but resided in Holland, MI for a good part of his life. He loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and many other activities as well as Dale Earnhardt, The Redwings and St. Louis Blues. He loved his family and friends very much. Extremely charismatic, everyone he came into contact with instantly enjoyed his company. He is and always will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents Glenn & Helen Lawson (nee Cooper) & sister Kathie Warfel (nee Lawson). Survived by his brother Mike G. Lawson Sr.,children Chad Lawson, Danielle Lawson & Lillyann Calkins. Uncle to Mike Lawson Jr., Ryan Lawson, Matt ( Tammie) Warfel, Michael Warfel, Laura Khan and the late Amanda Tebeau along with many nieces, nephews and grandkids. A Celebration of Life will take place in November.
