On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, Chad Everett Catchings passed away at the age of 50.
Chad was born on January 25, 1976, in Taft, Texas. Chad faced many challenges throughout his life, but those who knew him best will remember him for his kind heart and the love he had for his boys. Chad was a talented artist and loved to draw. Chad worked in plumbing and irrigation and was always willing to help others.
Chad is preceded in death by his mother, Terri Jo Kuntz Farrar Catchings, his father, Stephen John Farrar, his grandparents Ed and Dorothy Kuntz. He is survived by his children, Brandon M. Catchings, Blake T. Catchings, and Drew T. Catchings, his siblings, Stephen E. (Marisa) Farrar, Darrell W. Catchings Jr., Sherrill L. Catchings, Amy Kemp Nixon, his grandchildren, and nieces.
