Dora Biron was born May 12,1930 in Sumter, South Carolina. She lived in

husband, Alfred Joseph Biron, and her daughter, Cathy Lynn (Biron) Swain.
She is survived by her sister, Frankie Coulter, and her son, Ken (Maria

Kelly Swain, Timothy Biron, Rachel Biron, Paul Biron and Matthew Biron;
by a great grandson, Thiago; by nephews Randy Bunting, Todd Bunting

The family wishes to give special thanks to her caregivers at Bentwood Nursing
and to her faithful friends: Gus Dodorico, Stephanie Albertson and Sheila
Youngblood who were a tremendous support to her son Ken, since he lived
in Peru as a missionary.
Dora was an active member of the First Church of God, St. Louis, Missouri
for many years and of Hope Congregational Church in her later years of
life. Dora enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, gardening, bowling and reading.
Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. When her son Ken established
the Latin American Children’s Fund and built the Roma Lee Courvisier
School in Reque, Peru, she helped the mission by making quilts and
restoring dolls. She traveled to the school in Peru three times to distribute
them to the children.
