Alvin Lee Woodard

Alvin Lee (Buddy) Woodard, 65, of St Charles, Missouri, passed peacefully on January 18, 2026.

He was born on November 29, 1960, in St Louis, Missouri to Robert E Woodard and Alice J Woodard Lee.

Buddy attended Saint Charles High School and went on to join Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562, continuing a plumbing career that began with his family’s business.

Buddy had a big heart, a quick wit, a great chuckle, and sparkling eyes. He was always the life of the party. He loved the water-whether the river or ocean-making people laugh, breakfast, women, casino boats, garage sales, and most of all, his beloved Mother.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Robert E Woodard, and mother, Alice J Woodard Lee.

He is survived by his son, Robert Woodard, his grandchildren, RJ and Johanna, his sister, Sue Congemi, his brother, Richard Woodard and his lifelong friend Kathleen Williams, who lovingly cared for him in his final years, along with her family.

A celebration of life will be held this spring. The date will be announced at a later time.
