James Helbig

JAMES BERNARD HELBIG, passed away on March 23, 2018.

He was born in St. Louis on April 20, 1957.

Beloved son of the late Oliver Helbig Jr and the late Marie (Moynihan) Helbig.

Loving father, father-in-law and grandfather to Jerohn Helbig and Damyon, Jennifer (Roman) Aguirre and Ovidia, Aleze, Roman and Mia. 

Cherished brother and brother-in-law to Oliver (Phyllis) Helbig III, Annie (Mike) Harman, Patrick Helbig, Bryan (Sue) Helbig, Mary Louise (John Clark) Helbig, Peggy (Dan) Feuerstein.

Jim was a dear Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin, Friend to many.

Jim was a graduate of St Thomas Aquinas High School, Class of 1975.

Jim loved his parents, children and family very much.  He was a skilled carpenter, dog lover, spectator for many sports, and an avid fisherman.  Jim was well liked by those who knew him.  No one was a stranger to Jim because of his smile and friendly personality.  He had a big heart and a kind soul.  He spent almost his entire life in North St Louis County.

A private ceremony was held for the immediate family.  Jim’s final resting place will be near Austin, Texas where his children reside. END
