Pierre “Andy” Andert

Pierre “Andy” Andert age 89 of Manchester, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born on August 22, 1928 to Charles and Marie (Gergaud) Andert.  He is survived and celebrated by his loving wife of 67 years Eleanor, their three children Timothy, Jacquelyn, and Joyce, and by their grandchildren.

Andy spent the entirety of his career at McDonnell Douglas and was an encouraging mentor and support for all those he worked with. Andy retired in 1987 to spend more time with his family, and to serve as the most loving father figure for his granddaughters Hanna and Hillary.

He was a great man, with many friends, and a loving family. We were all so lucky to have known and loved him.

Honoring his request, services will be private for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Andy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
