Dianne Barbara Monroe (neé Steller), 80, of St. Louis, MO passed away on July 22
surrounded by loving family.
Dianne was born December 12, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Lawrence and
Florence Steller, survived by Lawrence Steller, Robert (Donna) Steller, (Karen)
Steller and preceded in death by Cliff Steller and Marty Steller.
Dianne leaves behind her children, Cindy (Lonnie) Taylor, Theresa) Monroe, Bob
(Stacie) Monroe, Steve Monroe, and Laura Hedger. She was preceded in death by
her son, James Monroe, Jr., all of which she loved passionately.
Dianne loved her grandkids, assuring each one they were her favorite. She has left
a legacy through Michael (Lacey) Taylor, Amanda (Dan) Mueller, Karissa Monroe,
Brittany Monroe, Miranda (Brad) Redden, Emily (Austin) Merz, Patrick Kennedy,
Shannon Kennedy, Riley Monroe, Logan Hedger, Amber Koons, Jackie Koons, Josie
Koons. In addition, she knew and loved 13 great grandkids, Madison, Kenzington,
Eliana, Charleston, Taylor, Blake, Jania, Freya, Mayah, Faith, Hadlie, Leila, Dean,
and Lucas, coming soon Baby Redden.
Dianne was known to love fiercely, laugh loudly and live loyally. She faithfully
watched the Cardinals, visited casinos, bowled with her friends and adored her
brothers to the end.
Finally, and most importantly, she lived a faithful life, reading her Bible,
worshipping God. In her final months, she was eagerly waiting to meet Jesus,
spoke of Him daily, assured us of His love for us and was ready to join Him.

home with the Lord.
