PITTMAN, BRENDA ELAINE (NEE JONES) was born March 3, 1950 at home in Wentzville, Missouri to the late Gilbert C. and Christine (nee Morton) Jones. Retired from St. Louis Lithography, she resided in Festus and rested peacefully on September 20th, 2025 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Crystal City.
She is survived by her children, Ralph Pittman, Jr., LaDonna (Travis) Garner, Michael Pittman and James Pittman, all of Festus; sister, Odessa Carr of Festus; brother, Omar Jones of Trenton, NJ.; aunt, Barbara Parker of Arizona; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her spouse, Ralph O. Pittman, Sr.; sisters, Rosie Lee Parker, Norma Jean Jones, Carol J. Jackson, Deborah M. Williams and Inez C. Jones; brothers, Gilbert “Peachy” Jones and Robert C. Jones, and granddaughter, Keyonna R. Pittman.
Brenda will be missed by a host of extended family and friends.
Brenda enjoyed listening to Smokey Robinson and pass the time with bingo or playing cards with friends and family.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their condolences and greatly appreciates all who helped care for Brenda. A Celebration of Life will be announced.
