Martha Elena Medrano passed away on Tuesday, May 27th at 59 years old after a long, hard battle with stomach cancer. She is survived by her husband Odilon Medrano, children Juan Carlos, Cristina, and Teresa Medrano, as well as grandchildren Carlos, Natalia, Madelaine, and Jadzia Medrano. She was known by everyone as a cherished mother, doting grandmother, and an irreplaceable friend.

Martha and Odilon were married for 40 years. She enjoyed listening to music at full volume, working on puzzles, and spending as much time with her grandchildren as possible. She was mostly known and recognized for her work as a dedicated caretaker and housekeeper. Martha would always go out of her way to greet every person she crossed paths with and took the time to ask how their day was going. Whenever there was a child nearby, she made sure to keep them out of harm’s way and to remind them of their manners. She never failed to make people laugh, be it coworkers or the nurses looking after her.  If there was anything out of place, she always made sure to put things where they belonged to make it easier for the person coming behind her. She was known by everyone around her as a selfless, kind, caring, strong, and loving woman. Martha was loved by so many people and her presence will be deeply missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.
