Jase Martin Legg

Jase Martin Legg 12/23/1985 – 07/12/2020

Jase passed away on 07-12-2020 at the age of only 34. He was born in Long Beach California, to parents Ronald Legg and Angelina Fuentes. Spent his childhood in Beardstown Illinois and his adolescent years in New Jersey. Moved back to Jacksonville IL., and spent the remainder of his life at Balsam Terrace where he found second family with the staff and neighbors. He is survived by his parents, Step Mother Ming Lan, Grandmother; Janet Legg, sisters; Kim Legg, Becky Griffith and Wendy Lan, his adored brother in-law; David Griffith, nieces; Mia Griffith, Lilith Legg, nephew Dean Griffith, Uncles Leslie (Skeeter) Legg, Michael Legg, Aunt; Leann Woodruff and his beloved cat Henry.

Throughout his life he always had a way with making friends and graciously touching people’s lives. He made people laugh with his jokes, put them at ease by his kind nature, and liked to make the people around him feel good about their selves. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephew and spent most of his days helping his family and everyone around him. He went out of his way and loved to help his family, friends and neighbors. Above all he is the definition of being genuine, truly loved by everyone and will be missed by us all.
