Dan Niewald, of Williamsville, MO, (previously St. Louis, MO) son of Alvin and Shirley Niewald
(deceased) born, May 9, 1956, left this world in peace after a short illness from Lung Cancer on
July 24, 2024.
As a young man Dan loved playing sports, Baseball, Soccer, Football and Frisby.
After he graduated from McCluer Sr High School, he became very interested in photography,
worked at a Photo Lab and could often be seen with his Nikon camera hanging from his neck.
Dan captured the good times through the Lense of his camera. For years he hosted large
gatherings in his home known as Dan’s BBQ’s where family, friends, friends of friends
were all welcomed with his great smile. After retirement from 30 years of work as a Local
Transporter, Dan moved to Williamsville MO to be close to his daughter and spend time with
the apple of his eye, Emily, his granddaughter. With close river access he had high hopes of
fulfilling his dream of catching the biggest fish ever.
Dan’s endearing nature will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
