Me and Chad became friends when we were about 16 years old. We had a tight group of friends back then. We were all connected by a deep love of music and a rebellious spirit. When we were 17, Chad asked me if I wanted to drive to St. Louis and see the original Woodstock lineup of Santana in concert. Let’s go!!! So, me and Chad jumped into his car (I believe a Toyota Celica, but I could be wrong) and drove down. We spent the night at Chad’s dad’s house and the next day we saw Santana. It’s was the single greatest concert I have ever seen in my life. We were 3rd row and right in the middle of the stage. We were so close to Carlos Santana that we could see that his guitar had small, white doves all flying in different directions on the neck of his guitar. It was one the beautiful and exciting nights of music I have ever experienced. That concert meant so much to us. We were so young and free. I will never forget that feeling. Whenever I saw Chad after that show he would look at me and just say…Carlos…and smile. Nothing else needed to be said. Love and Respect.

Norman and I were so saddened to hear the news. The last time we saw Chad was when we visited him in 2017 to watch the solar eclipse. Then we went down the road to explore the old mill. It was a great day and one we'll never forget. You were a good man Chad; we'll miss you. Sincerest condolences to his family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Chad was a friend of mine. He was a cool, intelligent person and lover of music and mystery! My last memory of him was at Mississippi Nights in St. Louis back in the early 90's watching Blues Traveler perform. He was a lot of fun to hang out with and laugh and enjoy good times. Peace be with you brother.

Chad was my nephew. I used to babysit him and his two sisters. I have so many memories of him that make me smile. I am very proud of the man he became. My sympathy to his mother, Donna...his two sisters Danell and Kim and his two sons Miles and Sam. Chad, you are greatly loved and missed. GOD has you in HIS hands. Rest in peace.
